Lissone, Italy – September 08, 2017 – Thanks to its continued commitment for providing excellent service both nationally and internationally, Alfamation, a leading provider of state-of-the-art turnkey test and measurement solutions, has joined the OPEN Alliance (One-Pair Ether-Net) Special Interest Group (SIG).
OPEN Alliance SIG is dedicated to promoting the use of Ethernet networks as the standard solution for in-vehicle applications. The member companies of the group take advantage of the scalability and flexibility of the Ethernet to enable cost effective communication networks in vehicles, with reduced complexity. An Ethernet-based communication network is also a key infrastructure element for future customer functions such as autonomous driving and the connected car.
